Moderate sized female huntsman that has been haunting my house for the last couple of years. She had a mass of babies a bit over 2 months ago, but there are only about half a dozen of them left.
Testing the macro lens -- obligatory spider shot. Probably a poor choice of subject as she is too big to fit entirely in the frame at 1:1. This is 0.91 life size. I can see why people spend a fortune on macro ring-lites and diffusers. The shadows on this are just a little strong.
EF 100mmL F2.8 macro and speedlite, hand held.
